Runa Combi Sidepull Or Bitted Bridle And Reins

A Runa Combi Bridle. The bridle can be used as a sidepull bitless bridle, for riding with a bit or with two reins. When using the Runa combi bridle as a sidepull the bridle mostly works with mild pressure being applied to the nose and cheek area when there is slight tension applied through the rein.

Each Runa Combi Bridle is supplied with the following: 2 x browbands (1 x plain and 1 x bling / diamond effect), 2 x headpieces (1 x thinner and 1 x thicker version) and 1 x pair of bit straps.

The Runa is the result of a collaboration between F.R.A and Equibitfit. Equibitfit are professional horse dentists and also bit / bitless bridle fitters. With the Runa Combi Bridle you can ride bitless (sidepull version) but also with a bit if required. Sometimes this is necessary for refinement or as an easier switch to completely bitless riding. There is also the option to ride with double reins as well.

To ride in double reins you can attach 1 set of reins to the head (sidepull) and the other set to the bit. Both options can help countless riders cross the line from bitted to bitless easily or if you want to slowly get your horse used to riding with a bit and keep the contact light. There are 2 x headpieces supplied. One is complete and cut out behind the ears for horses that tolerate pressure everywhere. The second headpiece offers freedom and comfort behind the ears which is more suitable for horses that are sensitive behind their ears. There are also 2 x browbands supplied as an extra. Both browbands are V shaped, 1 x in a smooth leather and 1 x with built in bling to shine when riding daily or to stand out when competing!
